percussion instruments and the magic toy bag soon
become a favourite section of the class and the
toddlers quickly learn the structure and anticipate
what is coming next. Tea, coffee, play and social
time in the toddler class.

Toddlers 2 - 3 years
This toddler class is lively
and the involvement from the children is more interactive.
Signs are again taught through Nursery Rhymes,
songs and stories but the children can now become
more active in the Dance and Movement sections.
Puppets, Percussion and Toy sections
still feature for this age group. Tea, coffee,
play and social time in this toddler class.

Pre-School 3 - 4 years: (Jan 2009)
For the September-December
Term any children turning 4 can join the 2-3 years
class until January 2009. Signs are still used
for pre-school children and are combined with fun,
energetic and interactive songs. Dance and movement
feature much more in this class helping children
develop their co-ordination, imagination, balance
and flexibility.
Pre-school classes are for the children only
during term time but parents are invited to
watch or participate in the last class of each
term.

The South’s premier arts & crafts
group is holding weekly themed classes for you
and your little ones at venues in Climping & Felpham.
HIPPOPOTS are friendly, relaxed classes
where your children can learn about artistic
experimentation with a range of easy to follow
weekly projects which they can take home and
enjoy. Themed weekly classes help promote spacial
awareness & co-ordination, as well as enhancing
social skills in a fun, friendly and safe environment.
Aprons and all the arts & crafts
materials they need to make their masterpieces
are supplied, with the added bonus that you
don't need to clean up after them! Class styles
make it suitable for ages 1 - 5, although
younger children are accepted. At the younger
end of the scale it is recommended they sit
on a parent's knee so they can be assisted
in their creation. As they get older they
may want to be more independent. Should this
happen, a booster seat can be brought for them.
