Brooklands Pleasure Park Western Road, Worthing Tel 01903 239999

Brooklands is a cheap and convenient, low-key day out for the family. Highlights include a lake on which you can rent pedalos and motorboats. The playground is great for both younger and older children and the paddling pool is a favourite with toddlers.

Entry to the park is free, the playground and paddling pool are also free. Parking is pay & display and other attractions such as the ball play, bouncy castle, trampolines, pedalos and boats, and the mini train require a fee. Facilities include toilets and there is a small cafe.

Harbour Park is surrounded by grassy areas and has Littlehampton's sandy beaches just steps away. It's a great day out for the whole family. The park has a range of classic childrens' rides such as the Formula, Bouncy Castle, Giant Castle Slide and Trampolines. Further attractions include Adventure Golf and a skating rink.


Entry to the park is free, but you will need tokens for rides and attractions. Rides start from 2 Tokens for the small juvenille rides and go up to 4 Tokens for the large rides such as Dodgems and Water Chute. The Adventure Golf is 5 Tokens. There is a Link cash withdrawal machine located in the Amusement Arcade.

Located on the east bank of the River Arun, just beside the seafront at Littlehampton beach.

South Downs Planetarium and Science Centre is a terrific discovery place for children aged 6 and up.

The shows re-create the night sky and are both educational and fun. Enjoy a day out with a difference!

To get there by car, turn off the A27 onto the B2145 towards Chichester, then turn left and left again into the school grounds. Parking is free.

The planetarium a five min walk from both Chichester bus and rail stations. It is signposted from nearby Basin Road.
