The Ruddington Framework Knitters Museum will be holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday 3 April. Eggs-plore the museum, spot all the eggs hidden in the rooms and displays then keep your eyes peeled in the garden for our Easter bunnies. Every completed quiz sheet  receives a prize and refreshments will be also be available.

Start at any time during the day from 11am to 3.30pm. 

Normal entrance fee charges apply (£3.00 adult, £2.00 children, £6.00 family), no extra charge for joining the Easter Egg Hunt!

Celebrating the release of a brand new Robin Hood movie. The clash of steel weaponry and the sight of flying arrows will be evident as Sherwood outlaws and Sheriff’s men fight it out each day. Walk through the colourful tented encampments, meet armoured knights, soldiers, craftsmen, civilian camp followers and their families.  Experience the smells sounds and sights of medieval life, with cooking demonstrations, games, bow making and other period activities. There’ll also be music, song and dance to get you in a merry medieval mood. Browse and buy in a medieval market, try on real armour, even have a go at target shooting with a real longbow. Watch a large medieval catapult in action as you cheer on period soldiers in thrilling tournament and deadly combat. With something of interest for all the family, it’s a weekend not to be missed!
